Oakworks is looking for a Sprayer/Painter to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for applying paint and stain to components used in our medical, spa, and massage products. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will play an important role in creating the finished products our customers rely on.

What You'll Do

As a Sprayer/Painter, you'll help ensure our products receive a high-quality, consistent finish while keeping production moving efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Spray paint and stain on components needed for manufacturing
  • Mix custom stains to achieve the required finish
  • Keep spray guns clean and properly maintained throughout the day
  • Complete touch-up work as needed
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Communicate with the Mill Department regarding parts needed for production
  • Set up and operate a hot stamp machine
  • Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process variables using strong mechanical skills
  • Monitor inventory levels and submit warehouse order requests as needed
  • Maintain accurate lot control of parts inventory
  • Work efficiently to meet production demands and customer expectations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Previous painting, spraying, finishing, woodworking, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience is a plus!

Education: Must have High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred. Medical product development or other regulated assembly industry experience is preferred.

· Must be able to demonstrate mechanical ability (Read Drawings, Assemble Electrical & Mechanical Components, and Validate Quality)

· Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating experience preferred.

· Ability to communicate and work with multiple departments.

· Proficient computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Proficient verbal, written communication, and presentation skills required.

· Proficient organizational and time management skills required.
