What Your Role Entails

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic health issues either independently or in collaboration with fellow physicians (guided by your credentials)
• Instructing patients and their families on health maintenance, prevention, and medical management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies aligned with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and overseeing chronic care management
• Partnering with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated patient care
• Meticulously documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• A current Nurse Practitioner license valid in the state of Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or in a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain both within 90 days
