Multiple new contract roles are available for the upcoming school year, offering flexibility and the chance to support students in their academic and personal growth. Full-time and part-time openings serve both elementary and middle school populations, with hybrid working models available for the ideal balance of onsite and remote work.
Qualifications:
- Current Kansas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
- Skill in managing caseloads for diverse age groups (elementary/middle school)
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Adept at adapting therapy activities for both in-person and virtual delivery
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades pre-K–8, depending on assignment
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation to assigned caseloads, ranging from 20 to 55 students across two schools (positions vary)
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services and student outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Participate in school and team meetings as needed
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices
