Devall Diesel is currently looking for Generator Technicians at our Groves, Texas facility. Southern Devall brings over 120 years of experienced backed by more than 230 barges, 70 towboats and the expertise of over 700 mariners company wide. At Southern Devall, we strive to be competitive within the market both in pay and employee benefits .
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid TWIC Card
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment Non-DOT Physical and Drug Screen
- At least 1-3 years of Industry Experience or Mechanical Experience
- Job-Related Certifications
- Organization, computer and communication skills
- Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency
- Ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures
- Must be able to provide, record and manage paperwork
- Will be available to work on weekends and/or nights, in weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively
Job Duties:
The qualified applicant will perform a variety of tasks including the inspection, repair, and preventative and corrective maintenance and modification on diesel generators.
