Colorful, feminine and doll-like with a darker, strange and slightly unhinged edge. Pretty and polished on the surface, with something increasingly psycho underneath.This is not traditional horror or gore. The sinister elements are more playful, stylish and psychological. The goal is a polished, high-energy music video with strong artist performance, choreography and character-driven moments.I already have an overall concept and visual direction, but I’m looking for a director who can bring additional creative ideas and help elevate the concept.FILMMAKER FEE: $1,500–$2,000Looking for a filmmaker/director package that includes: Creative development / pre-production collaboration Direction Cinematography/shooting Professional cinema camera package Basic lighting package Gimbal/stabilization as needed One full shoot day Full music video edit Color grading Location, choreographer, dancers/talent, makeup/wardrobe and approved specialty production expenses are funded separately by the artist. I’m very interested in directing this project. I’ve worked on two feature films in the Indian film industry and have directed two independent music videos for record labels. I’m particularly drawn to your “Doll Gone Bad” concept because of the contrast between the glossy, colorful, feminine aesthetic and the darker, psychologically unhinged character underneath. I think there’s plenty of room to create something visually stylish, energetic, and cinematic without relying on traditional horror or gore. I’d love the opportunity to bring my visual storytelling, performance direction, editing, and music-video experience to the project, while also building on your existing concept with additional creative ideas and a strong visual language.
