- Competent performance of routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
- Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
- Effective communication skills to gain confidence and cooperation from patients and their families.
- Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.


Description:
Responsible for performing routine and specialized breast procedures.
Produce quality images for physicians and healthcare providers.
Work independently and exercise sound judgment.
Develop clinical skills to execute safe procedures.
Deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
Gain cooperation from patients and their families through competent assessment and monitoring.
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
Adhere to regulations and policies to ensure optimal patient care.
May be responsible for specific procedures or orienting other staff.
Familiarity with 3-D mammography, digital quality assurance procedures, and radiation safety required.
Understand and implement isolation precautions and universal precautions.
Engage with interdisciplinary support for patient care.
Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
