Software Engineer (Java Backend)

Title: Software Engineer (Java Backend) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)Job Summary Seeking a strong backend-focused Java Engineer to develop scalable microservices and enterprise applications supporting digital asset and blockchain analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and SQL, along with experience integrating complex data sources and APIs.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop new Java-based microservicesBuild scalable APIs and integration solutionsDevelop and maintain automated testing frameworksSupport blockchain and digital asset analytics initiativesCollaborate within a 6-member Agile teamRequired Skills Java 11/17+ with Spring Boot and Microservices Strong backend development experience Advanced SQL and database design/performance tuning REST APIs and integration services Test automation using JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Rest Assured, or Selenium CI/CD pipeline experience Agile development experiencePreferred Skills Experience with virtual assets, blockchain analytics, and digital asset transaction monitoring Familiarity with Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, or similar blockchain platforms Understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, wallet attribution, on-chain analytics, and financial crime compliance Experience integrating blockchain data sources into enterprise applications for risk management and regulatory reportingTop 3 Skills: Java / Microservices / Database Development Virtual Assets & Blockchain Analytics Experience Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, or similar platform exposureYears of Experience: 10.00 Years of ExperienceApplicant Notices & DisclaimersFor information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location-specific applicant notices, click here
