Certified Apartment Staffing (CAS) is seeking experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team and work with premier apartment communities throughout the Houston, Texas area. If you have prior multifamily maintenance experience and enjoy keeping communities in excellent condition, we want to hear from you!

Position Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests (work orders) in a timely manner.
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs.
• Repair and patch drywall.
• Paint apartments, touch up walls, and prepare units for move-in.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances and install replacements as needed.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, and garbage disposals.
• Complete basic electrical repairs such as switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Assist with make-ready turns to ensure units are move-in ready.
• Perform general grounds maintenance and community upkeep when needed.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and onsite staff.

Qualifications

• Prior apartment (multifamily) maintenance experience is required.
• HVAC certification is NOT required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Experience with painting, drywall repair, appliance installation and repair, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work orders.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Houston area.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
