Ultrasound Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule of 4x9 hours, Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations and procedures. This role requires independent work with access to a radiologist over the phone for urgent queries. The technologist will cover both outpatient and emergency department settings, providing care across all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations including general, abdomen, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, small parts, and vascular studies.
• Conduct doppler studies for upper and lower extremity arterial assessments.
• Assist in patient transport and coordination when not occupied with ultrasound tasks, working as part of a collaborative team.
• Utilize PACS and portable ultrasound equipment effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required.
• SIEMENS and ACUSON experience is required.
• ARDMS certification in AB/OB and RVT is mandatory.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
