Job Title: Professional RN Team Lead Profession: RN Specialty: SNF Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Ability to manage time effectively - Strong critical thinking skills - Effective delegation and prioritization skills Description: We will deliver the highest quality health care in partnership with our community, one person at a time. The Professional RN Team Lead is responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. Direct patient care may include assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting of the patient's condition. The Professional RN Team Lead collaborates with the care team and participates in interdisciplinary care. They advocate for patients and must be able to shift to an LPN Med Cart position as needed. The role requires maintaining clinical competence specific to their care area, including organization-required education. They coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively. Documentation must be appropriate and thorough in the electronic medical record (EMR). Participation in unit councils and staff meetings is expected. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs. and the ability to sit or stand for long periods. Must be able to operate the equipment required for the job. Every other weekend and every other holiday commitment is required. Floating to other units may occur as staffing permits.
