At FSB&W, we are primarily cloud based, with a hybrid-work environment. We offer 2-3 days on site in our Vernon Hills, Illinois office and 2-3 days remote, affording you the opportunity to work from home or office as needed. This is a unique opportunity to work from either location with flexibility in scheduling and seasonality in public accounting.

Job Duties Include:

• Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, workpaper and financial statement preparation as well as client communication
• Conduct accounting compilations and reviews
• Preparation of individual, fiduciary, business tax returns
• Prepare sales and payroll taxes
• Conduct bookkeeping and related functions
• Provide outstanding client service and communication
• Maintain active communications within the firm to manage expectations, safeguard client satisfaction and ensure deadlines are met

Successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting
• CPA strongly preferred, or pursuing
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in public accounting preferred
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Software (Desktop and Online)
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
• Proficient in CCH software a plus
