Responsibilities- Connect with prospective customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
- Provide and explain auto, home, renters, and other insurance quotes in a clear and professional manner.
- Follow up with leads and prospects to close sales and meet monthly production goals.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and consistent follow-up.
- Process new business applications and assist with policy changes and endorsements.
- Maintain accurate customer information and activity notes in agency systems.
- Cross-sell additional insurance products when appropriate.
- Work closely with the agency team to achieve individual and overall agency sales goals.
- Illinois Property & Casualty License preferred but not required. For motivated candidates interested in building a long-term career in insurance, we will provide guidance and support to help you obtain your license.
- Previous sales experience preferred; insurance experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable making outbound calls, following up with leads, and closing sales.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and standard office software.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
