Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN

The Inpatient Services Registered Nurse (RN CAP 1) is an entry-level role within the Clinical Advancement Program, responsible for providing clinically competent patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Key duties collecting and analyzing patient data during treatment, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare team members, administering medications and treatments, initiating emergency responses, training staff as needed. Qualifications require graduation from an accredited nursing school, current state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, minimum experience of 9 months as an RN, with dialysis experience preferred. This role involves physical demands such as heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and movement of equipment, within a healthcare environment. Supervision may include oversight of care staff after meeting specific experience and training criteria. Additional responsibilities encompass participating in quality improvement, staff training, and may include travel and on-call duties.
