About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Sidney, Montana. The RN will provide comprehensive L&D/LDRP nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.

• Perform obstetric triage, non-stress tests (NSTs), maternal-fetal assessments, and ongoing patient monitoring.

• Serve as the second nurse during deliveries and assist with overflow Labor & Delivery patients as needed.

• Recognize and respond appropriately to maternal and neonatal complications while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide qualified support to Med-Surg, Critical Care, or Emergency Department areas when floating is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent Labor & Delivery / LDRP Registered Nurse Experience Required; Must Be Labor-Trained.

• Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable Montana Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.

• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required.

• Current STABLE Certification and Intermediate-or-Higher Fetal Monitoring Certification Required.

• Ability to Work Night Shifts, Provide Antepartum, Labor, Postpartum, and Newborn Care, Float to Qualified Units as Needed, and Participate in Limited On-Call Coverage Required.
