Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Manage an expected caseload of 50–60 patients per week, with a primary focus on post-operative care
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned, including supervision, development of learning objectives, and completion of student evaluations
• Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (Texas)
• 1–2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Proficiency with manual therapy techniques
• Experience or comfort working in an outpatient setting with post-operative patient populations
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with applicable guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic or post-surgical rehabilitation protocols
• Familiarity with functional quality indicators and outcomes-based documentation
• Active involvement in continuing education or professional development activities
