Inventory Coordinator

Job Description
This functional role supports accurate inventory control and timely material distribution by managing material receiving, order preparation, package processing, and warehouse activities. The Inventory Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager and may also support Shipping and Receiving tasks as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Receive materials and accurately store them in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory control records.
- Prepare orders for shipment to customer sites according to established processes.
- Label and meter packages using applicable freight systems.
- Process orders using the SJM ERP system.
- Complete daily preparations for the following day’s distribution activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
- Support divisional initiatives and applicable Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in inventory coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with shipping and receiving.
- Experience with order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
