Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Pay Range: $20-30/hour Job Description: Up to $30/hour | Longmont, CO | Full-Time Hours | 2026–2027 School Year | K–12 Caseload About the Role Hello, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician for a K–12 school setting in Longmont, CO. In this role, you’ll support students with behavioral and developmental needs by implementing individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and collaborating with school teams. Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $30/hour) steady school-year schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for certification, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA Provide 1:1 or small group behavioral support to students Collect and track data on student progress and behaviors Support students with social, emotional, and communication skills Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies Maintain accurate and compliant documentation What We’re Looking For Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills School-based or ABA experience a plus About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
