Job Overview A law firm seeks a Biotech Intellectual Property Associate (Junior - Mid-Level) to join its Boston office. The successful candidate will work with clients from various industries, providing exceptional client service and leveraging a strong technical background in the biological sciences. Duties Draft and prosecute patent applications. Evaluate patent portfolios. Perform due diligence investigations. Collaborate with attorneys across a global platform. Requirements Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission. At least two years of relevant experience in patent law. Experience in a law firm is desirable. Education Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Chemistry, or a related discipline. Certifications Admitted to the patent bar. Skills Excellent academic credentials. Outstanding organizational and communication skills. Leadership skills and comfort working directly with clients.
