With more than 12,000 team members—physicians, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists and other highly skilled health care professionals—UofL Health is focused on one mission: delivering patient-centered care to each and every patient each and every day.# **Job Description:****Position Summary and Purpose** The Cardiac Sonographer has a working knowledge of adult (ages 18-65), geriatric (ages 66 and over), neonatal (birth to 12 months), and occasionally and adolescent (ages 12-17) echocardiography, where applicable. The Cardiac Sonographer presents a pleasing and helpful manner to the patient, physicians, visitors, members of the department, and all other medical personnel. The Cardiac Sonographer exhibits courteous behavior when addressing the general public and outside hospital related agencies.
