Facility: This medical center serves as a vital healthcare provider for the western Kentucky region, offering comprehensive women's health services. The facility features a 6-bed department with Level 1 trauma and pediatric capabilities, providing excellent opportunities for diverse clinical experience in a supportive environment. Opportunity: Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details: • Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with varying patient encounters per shift • Handle low and high risk pregnancies with full spectrum delivery services • Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, cesarean sections, breech, and multiple births • Conduct FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE procedures • Perform OB ultrasounds with Level I and II capabilities for screening and anatomic assessments • Handle pregnancy complications including abruptions and VBAC procedures • Provide decision-making expertise for cesarean sections and delivery planning • Perform amniocentesis procedures and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Conduct office and minor gynecology procedures including IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP • Provide surgical gynecology services including open and laparoscopic procedures • Handle major operative procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, and cystectomy • Must be licensed in Kentucky or hold IMLC certification • Board certification not required • Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days • Start date July 27, 2026 with ongoing coverage needs Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
