Press Operator I Location: Tulsa, OK, US, 74146 Work Arrangement: Onsite Operate hydraulic press machine to produce high tolerance plates used for the assembly of heat exchangers according to specification and procedure required for final product. Responsibilities Press the different types of plates according to standard operating procedures. Run, monitor and adjust the press line to achieve quality specifications to account for variables such as new tools, material, etc. Test and verify quality of parts before, during and after production according to the procedures. Manage inventory of both raw material and finished goods, packing and handling effectively and efficiently. Process tool changes and cleaning. Research breakdown causes and make the necessary repairs. Drive improvements in efficiency, quality and safety. Document and communicate issues to stakeholders. Maintain the order and cleanliness of the workplace and press lines. Qualifications, Education, and Experience Experience in a manufacturing environment and machine operator experience preferred. Skills and Competencies Proficient at reading technical drawings and blueprints. Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity preferred. Meticulous attention to detail and focus on quality. High degree of problem‑solving skills, especially in mechanical aptitude. Basic computer knowledge and skills. Safety Sensitive position.
