Job Description

Job Summary:

Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanning equipment to capture detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring proper positioning.
• Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure and respond to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, images, and patient information in the EHR system.
• Follow all safety protocols, including radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure diagnostic quality.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a CT Technologist with valid certification/licensing.
• 2+ years of experience in GE CT imaging equipment preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in EPIC EHR documentation.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to strict schedules.
• Willing to accept non-local contracts within a 75+ mile radius of the facility.
