Job Description: Candidates will float between facilities. 48 hours guaranteed each week. Required certifications must be included in the application. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as CVOR CST. Experience with open heart procedures is necessary. Candidates without required skills will not be considered for the role. The unit has 14 operating rooms and a staff of approximately 70 full-time equivalents. Patient ratios are generally estimated as 1:1. Typical equipment used includes electronic medical records systems. Flexibility in day or evening hours as needed is required. Call duties are mandatory. Ideal candidates will be team players with a high level of accountability and self-direction. Preferred candidates will have Level I and trauma experience and prior experience with electronic medical records systems. A variety of surgeries are performed, including AVR, MVR, CABG, Bentall, and dissections. This is a competitive position that offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology.
