Job Description

The Pick Pack Ship Associate supports the manufacturing process by accurately pulling parts from order sheets, assembling kits on carts, and preparing orders for shipment. This role uses a computer and RF scanner to verify orders, document shipping information, print labels, and ensure that all items are correctly packed and ready to ship. The position requires comfort working at heights and a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Work from order sheets to accurately pull parts required for the manufacturing process.
• Assemble parts into complete kits on carts according to specified requirements.
• Use an RF scanner to pick parts, track inventory movements, and support shipping activities.
• Operate a computer to log work, verify orders, and document shipping and receiving information.
• Print shipping labels and prepare documentation for outgoing orders.
• Pack boxes securely and efficiently to ensure products arrive in good condition.
• Support shipping and receiving functions, including order picking and basic inventory tasks.
• Maintain accuracy in all order picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Work safely and comfortably at heights as required by the role.
• Follow established procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area within the facility.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and follow order sheets accurately.
• Proficiency using an RF scanner for picking parts and supporting shipping processes.
• Basic computer skills to log work, verify orders, and document shipping information.
• Experience with picking and packing in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and basic inventory handling.
• Comfort working at heights in a safe and controlled manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a climate-controlled warehouse or manufacturing support role.
• Experience using computers for label printing and order verification.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

The role is based in a climate-controlled, clean facility that supports manufacturing and shipping operations. The position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will regularly use RF scanners, computers, and label printers, and work around inventory, carts, and packing stations. The environment is structured, organized, and focused on maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the workday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ocala,FL.
