Role Description The Healthcare Financial Wellness Professional RN, NP, PA, MD is a contract, remote role focused on supporting healthcare workers in achieving better financial health. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients via video or phone, reviewing their financial goals and challenges, and offering education and guidance aligned with best practices and any applicable professional standards. The professional will help clients understand budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and retirement planning options, while recognizing the unique demands of healthcare careers. The role also involves documenting sessions, maintaining confidential records, collaborating with Luminary Financials' internal team on educational materials, and staying current with relevant financial and healthcare trends. Contract professionals are expected to manage their own schedules, uphold ethical and compliance requirements, and maintain clear, empathetic communication with every client.

Qualifications

• Active RN, NP, PA, or MD license in good standing, with clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

• Demonstrated interest or experience in financial wellness, personal finance, or financial education for healthcare professionals.

• Strong communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.

• Comfort with remote work, including proficiency with video conferencing, secure digital documentation, and online collaboration tools.

• High ethical standards, respect for confidentiality, and commitment to non-judgmental, client-centered guidance.

• Organizational skills, reliability in managing a contract schedule, and ability to work independently.

• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or education is beneficial.

Background or coursework in business, finance, or related fields is a plus but not required.
