About Portsmouth Car Clinic

Portsmouth Car Clinic is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Portsmouth, NH, offering $40–$60/hour with weekly pay. This Monday–Friday role includes approximately 30%–35% diagnostic work, factory diagnostic tooling, professional scan equipment, and Shop Foreman support. Service Advisors handle parts ordering so technicians can stay focused on diagnostics and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Complete general automotive repairs, maintenance, and inspections
• Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Shop-Ware
• Document vehicle findings and repair recommendations
• Communicate repair needs with Service Advisors and shop leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
• A-Level or strong B-Level technical ability
• Strong automotive diagnostic and general repair skills
• Experience diagnosing electrical systems and drivability concerns
• Independent repair shop or dealership experience preferred
