Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly, 72-hour guarantee) | 12-hour shifts (3x12 and 4x12 alternating) | 11:00–23:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC
• Respond to and manage high-acuity and trauma cases as required by department needs

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid RN license in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience; experience in a high-volume or trauma facility may be considered in lieu of standard experience requirements
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must meet Tier 2 Travel Compliance requirements, including SSNRTO and Nursys verification submitted at time of application
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Must be available to complete required pre-employment lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 3 years of emergency room experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
