Behavior Therapist

Behavior Therapist (BT) Behavior Therapists provide direct ABA therapy and behavior intervention services to children with developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a BCBA clinician, the BT works 1:1 with children to implement individualized treatment plans that address behavioral management, daily living skills, social, and community skills. Responsibilities include: Delivering behavior intervention sessions according to the treatment plan. Monitoring and documenting data to track progress. Collaborating with the BCBA and other team members to adjust services. Providing training and support to parents and caregivers. Location and Hours Center‑based opportunities throughout NJ/PA/DE, MA, VA, CT, and AZ. Full‑Time and Part‑Time opportunities are available. Required Experience and Education Minimum of an HS Diploma or GED. Minimum of one (1) year of experience with children that have disabilities. 6 months of ABA experience (preferred). Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Pennsylvania applications: must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting. Candidates must possess the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, up to 50 lbs, on occasion. Physical Demands This role requires the ability to spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
