Orthopedics - Trauma Physician

Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Physician in Williamsport, Pennsylvania

Focus exclusively on orthopedic trauma cases with APPs handling first-call responsibilities.

Practice & Cases:

- Hospital-based orthopedic trauma service with rounds, consults, and surgical coverage

- Dedicated trauma practice with no elective cases

- Full spectrum of orthopedic trauma procedures including ORIF, intramedullary nailing, and fracture management

- APP support available for morning rounds and first-call coverage

Schedule:

- Weekend coverage blocks from Friday through Monday

- Daytime rounds and consults with overnight call coverage

- Three weekends per month available beginning this fall

- Ongoing coverage opportunities

Requirements:

- Must be an MD or DO

- Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

- Active Pennsylvania license preferred or Open to IMLC Physicians

- BLS and DEA required

Logistics:

- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage provided

- Travel accommodations arranged for scheduled coverage weekends
