Registered Nurse Cath Lab

Pre/post care for cath lab and electrophysiology departments. Every other weekend required. No call responsibilities. Must float within facility/scope of practice as needed. Unit does not accept first-time travelers. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start date will be pushed back by 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Unit does not accept travel pairs. Travel experience is required. Preferred charting system experience is Epic. Daily census ranges from 20-35 patients. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The expected patient ratio is 4 patients per nurse on days and nights. Pre-approved time off includes one day. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission. No requests for time off or schedule changes can be made after an offer is made or during orientation week. Compliance documents must be completed promptly to ensure a timely start to the assignment. Modules are non-billable and will vary by specialty.
