Bay Colony Community Association is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Seasonal part-time Food Runners to support our Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams for our Beach Club . The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food accurately and efficiently while assisting with kitchen expediting, dinning-room service, opening and closing duties, and special-event set-up and breakdown. ABOUT BAY COLONY

Bay Colony is one of Naples most upscale communities in Southwest Florida. The community is a private community within Pelican Bay and is embraced by a by a gracious perimeter. JOB DUTIES

• Delivering food and items ordered by guests without delay, at the desired temperature and in a highly presentable manner
• Assist the Kitchen with expediting and garnish of plates
• Have a working knowledge of the table numbers and position numbers to initiate seamless delivery of courses.
• Report to work as assigned in neatly pressed uniform and in accordance with Club uniform, grooming and dress policies.
• Perform side work before dining room is open (slice lemons, kitchen prep line and perform closing side work after dining room is closed. Sets the front line of the kitchen in an organized manner to expedite the courses
• Arranging the various food items properly on the table as per the seating plan
• Clearing the dishes as they are consumed
• Fills water glasses and other drinks as appropriate
• Providing friendly, gracious, motivated, detail oriented, and responsive service to create a memorable dining experience for guests
• Maintain dining room, storage room, and wait station in clean and neat fashion. Ensure all items are spotless at all times.
• Assist in the set up and break down of all functions.
• Maintains linens/restocking.
• Performs clean-up and closing duties.
• Attends any food and beverage meetings.
• Assists Service and Kitchen staff in other duties as required
• Advises Department Leaders of any complaints.
• Attends any food and beverage meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Previous busser or food-service experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires frequent standing and walking, along with physical stamina for lifting and carrying trays and other items. The position  regularly requires lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and may involve bending, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and other physical activities.
