Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Breakfast Attendant for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA.

POSITION SUMMARY: TO SET UP, MAINTAIN, AND ORGANIZE THE BUFFET BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER SERVICE TIMES.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: THE POSITION REQUIRES PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION.

• Maintains the entire buffet by keeping all food looking fresh and full
• Maintains cleanliness of all areas at all times
• Maintains proper stocking levels of all utensils and china
• Follows all safety and sanitation procedures

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

• Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
• Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing of all supplements of the buffet
• Perform other duties as requested such as answering telephones and taking room service orders, handle special guest requests, and greet and seat guests
• Assist servers when needed
• Assist other departments as directed

ABILITY TO REMEMBER, RECITE, AND PROMOTE THE VARIETY OF SIDEBOARD ITEMS. ABILITY TO TRANSPORT LARGE TRAYS WEIGHTING UP TO 40LBS. THROUGH A CROWDED ROOM ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS. ABILITY TO READ, SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN ORDER TO COMMUNICATE WITH GUESTS AND TAKE ORDERS.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED. RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
