Job Title: Interventional Psychiatrist (TMS)

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Bronx, NY

Salary Range: $260,000 - $300,000 Annually **

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Psychiatrist to join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This role focuses on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, providing evidence-based, non-pharmacological treatment for patients with treatment-resistant depression and other qualifying psychiatric conditions. The physician will evaluate patients, oversee TMS treatment protocols, and collaborate with referring providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to determine patient eligibility for TMS therapy.
• Administer and supervise TMS treatment sessions following established clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.
• Provide consultations to referring physicians and behavioral health providers regarding TMS therapy.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and clinical staff regarding TMS therapy, treatment expectations, and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Stay current with advancements in interventional psychiatry and TMS technology.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience and training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and other interventional psychiatric procedures preferred.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and collaboration skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
