OB Fellow – Sea Mar Community Health Centers Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a federally qualified health center founded in 1978, serving diverse communities with a focus on Latino patients in Washington State. Position Summary The OB Fellow is part of a care team providing comprehensive services to Sea Mar patients and affiliated institutions during their OB Fellowship training. The Fellow works collaboratively to deliver quality coordinated care, serving as a fully licensed independent physician in family medicine and non‑surgical hospital settings. Offer appropriate hospital and institutional care as required. Refer patients to specialists or other service sources when necessary. Prescribe and dispense medication according to prescriptive authority granted by Washington State Board. Participate in organizing and directing preventive health programs, including immunizations and disease‑prevention activities. Collaborate with administrative personnel and leadership to improve patient care experience. Provide care for special groups such as nursing home residents or other institutional patients when appropriate. Qualifications Licensed M.D. or D.O. Completed an ACGME or AOA approved post‑graduate residency; board certification in the specialty within five years of residency completion. Current DEA certificate if prescribing controlled substances. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and ongoing certification. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate. Knowledge or interest in Hispanic cultural aspects; bilingual English and Spanish preferred. Mandatory Requirements Annual influenza and COVID‑19 vaccination (exceptions for medical or religious exemption). Salary and Benefits Salary: $90,000 per year.
