What You’ll Be Doing As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will help expand the Verizon network by generating retail sales through passion for technology and exceptional customer service. Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and customer service. Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution. Close sales using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. Continue developing yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services. Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events. We’re hiring immediately! This isn’t a typical entry‑level retail position. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of sales experience, you can earn $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to $18,000 a year in individual‑based commissions if you hit all your sales goals. Top performers could earn an additional $14,500 or more in commissions, for a total annual compensation of $65,000 + to $75,500 + depending on geography, hours worked, and performance. Benefits Bilingual speakers in eligible locations may receive an extra $3,000 annually on top of base pay and commission after passing a language assessment. What We’re Looking For Required qualifications: High school diploma or GED. One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule available four weeks in advance). Openness to pick up additional shifts for increased income during peak periods. Even better if you have: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. Experience working in a commission‑based environment. Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
