Visual Designer, Deck/Presentation Focused

This remote contractor opportunity centers on translating brand systems, reference materials, and structured content into polished, on-brand presentation standards.

Role Overview

You will contribute real-world visual design expertise to a customer project that trains and evaluates AI systems. Prior AI experience is not required; presentation design expertise is the core requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design expert-level presentation tasks using reference decks, brand assets, and structured content inputs.
• Create gold-standard example decks demonstrating strong typography, grids, hierarchy, and visual-system fidelity.
• Define clear, practical criteria for polished, on-brand presentation design across varied tasks.
• Develop visual rubrics that assess model outputs for craft, style consistency, and template adherence.
• Identify AI-specific visual issues, including misaligned grids, inconsistent hierarchy, and off-brand elements.
• Communicate feedback and rationale clearly in written and verbal form.
• Work with stakeholders to refine presentation tasks, templates, and evaluation systems as the project evolves.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in an agency, in-house corporate communications or brand team, or as an independent deck or presentation designer.
• Advanced typography, layout, color, iconography, and grid-system skills.
• Fluency building, extending, and applying visual template systems across slide types and content scenarios.
• Ability to accurately infer and recreate visual styles from reference decks.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-craft presentation work, such as board, pitch, sales, or brand-system decks.
• Expert proficiency with PowerPoint and/or Keynote, plus strong familiarity with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating evaluation rubrics or contributing to AI training projects is beneficial.
• Experience with large-scale template redesigns, translating brand guidelines into presentation systems, or data-rich decks is valued.

Work Terms

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Remote, available to candidates based in NAMER or Europe.
• Work is paid per task that meets project specifications; completion time varies by experience and workflow.
• Minimum submission requirements apply, including a minimum number of tasks each week.
• Roles are typically filled within 48 hours. Selected candidates should be ready to begin initial tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing the required setup process.

Compensation

$20 to $60 per hour equivalent, with compensation structured on a per-task, output-based basis.
