Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and assess their needs, applying clinical knowledge to determine appropriate therapy strategies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans while adjusting them based on patients' progress and feedback.
• Provide one-on-one patient care and education, empowering individuals and their families to take an active role in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, including clinical notes, billing information, and communications in compliance with HIPAA and Medicare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and share insights from your clinical observations to enhance overall patient treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse population, ranging from pediatric to adult patients experiencing various physical challenges due to injury, surgery, or chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with kids through specialized pediatric programs, as well as adult patients requiring rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and general mobility issues.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; however, candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• Avalid Florida Physical Therapist license is required to practice.
• Clinical experience in an acute care setting for one or more years is essential to ensure familiarity with fast-paced rehabilitation environments.
• Proven proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques will be highly regarded.
• Extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is crucial in developing effective treatment plans.
• Ability to engage and provide compassionate care to pediatric patients is a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
