SPEECH THERAPIST - SPEECH THERAPY

Speech-Language Pathologist

Provides evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for adult and pediatric patients in accordance with ASHA standards, including communication, articulation, cognitive, and swallowing assessments.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Current MS SLP license.

Current ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY.

CPR certification.

Experience in acute care, outpatient, or long?term care settings.

Administer and interpret standardized assessments.

Develop and implement treatment plans.

Perform dysphagia evaluations and diet recommendations.

Document accurately in EMR.

Provide education to patients, families, and staff.

Participate in PI, infection control, and departmental training.

Demonstrate and assist with therapeutic activities and functional mobility.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling.

Lift, support, and transfer patients with assistance/devices as needed (up to 50 lbs independently).

Manual dexterity for therapeutic interventions; adequate vision and hearing.
