HOA and Pool Facilities Lead

FACILITIES LEAD (SEASONAL) Location: Sierra Meadows HOA – Truckee, CA Compensation: $24.00 per Hour Schedule: Full-Time (36–40 hours per week) | Daily 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Duration: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Position Overview Sierra Meadows HOA is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Facilities Lead to manage our community recreation center for the summer season. As the primary point of contact for our members, you will be responsible for the daily safety, cleanliness, and operational integrity of our pool, clubhouse, and sports facilities. This is a seasonal leadership role that requires a proactive individual capable of maintaining high standards during our busiest months in the Truckee mountain environment. Key Responsibilities Member Services & Access Control Admissions: Manage and verify member entry using the Access Granted digital system. Policy Enforcement: Maintain a safe, family-friendly atmosphere by ensuring all residents and guests adhere to HOA facility and pool rules. Daily Pool Oversight Water Quality: While a professional pool company services the 35,000‑gallon pool three times a week, the Lead is responsible for pH and Chlorine testing on off-days. Compliance: Maintain an accurate daily log of chemical levels to ensure the pool meets health and safety standards. Safety: Ensure the pool is kept clear of toys and debris at all times. Facility & Grounds Maintenance Tennis Court Care: Daily clearing of pine needles and forest debris to ensure the court remains safe and playable. Risk Management: Monitor weather and wind conditions. All umbrellas must be closed and secured during wind events and at the end of every day. Amenity Management: Keep pool furniture organized and ensure all items are properly stored or put away at the end of each shift. General Upkeep: Monitor the lawn and playground areas; empty trash cans and ensure the clubhouse, showers, and bathrooms are clean and fully stocked. Qualifications Commitment: Must be available to work for the full duration of the season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Reliability: High level of punctuality and consistency for the 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift. Technical Proficiency: Ability to use mobile apps for access management and digital logging. Physical Ability: Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 30 lbs, and handle manual debris clearing on the courts. Daily Shift Structure 11:00 AM: Open facility, clear tennis court, and perform/log initial water test. Mid‑Day: Manage Access Granted check‑ins, perform bathroom/trash rounds, and monitor pool safety. Weather Watch: Proactively secure umbrellas and furniture as Truckee wind patterns change. 7:00 PM: Secure clubhouse/showers, clear pool of toys, store all umbrellas, and lock gates.
