Vice President of Ecommerce

The client is seeking a Vice President of Ecommerce to lead the overall direction and management of its online presence and ecommerce operations. This role will focus on strengthening ecommerce platforms and expanding the client’s digital footprint to drive revenue growth, while also managing relationships across furniture suppliers and technical and logistics vendors. The Vice President of Ecommerce will oversee day-to-day ecommerce platform operations, including logistics and fulfillment. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with business goals; optimizing online marketing campaigns across multiple channels such as search advertising, SEO, email marketing, and social media; and leveraging data to track performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and improve decision-making. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience on ecommerce platforms. Ideal candidates are strategic leaders with strong ecommerce operational and technology understanding, along with commercial acumen and the ability to manage a budget or PandL. Requirements include proven experience in a comparable ecommerce leadership role, proficiency in web technologies (with specific familiarity such as Magento and Mailchimp viewed as a strong plus), and capabilities in marketing channels including Google AdWords, SEO, email marketing, and social media. The client also expects strong stakeholder management, analytical and reporting skills, adaptability in a rapidly changing ecommerce environment, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred.
