Collins Aerospace’s Open Systems Digital Processing team is looking for an exceptionally motivated OSS Systems Engineering Senior Manager who is passionate about collaborating with high-performance teams to create mission-critical solutions that support Mission Systems. Our Software Engineers work in an exciting, adaptive, and engaging environment, enabling rapid learning to drive success. Our software engineering teams regularly utilize a variety of skills, including requirements analysis, synthesis of new and existing architectures that meld commercial and military communication functionality, and software engineering development best practices for complex systems where the ability to execute the mission is paramount. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of systems engineers responsible for the development and integration of Multi-Function Processor (MFP) solutions, providing scalable, high-performance digital processing capabilities across communications, sensor processing, and cross-domain applications. You will guide system architecture development across hardware, software, and FPGA domains, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and interoperability requirements aligned with modern open architecture standards. The candidate will have opportunities to work directly with military customers, industry partners, and internal engineering and program management teams that are leading experts in their fields. There are immediate needs to support both U.S. and international customers through development of adaptable, mission-ready processing solutions. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
