Security Officer Checkpoint Screener in Zionsville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. In this role, you will help identify concerns, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Monday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies to help support authorized entry and security-related standards. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipment-related documentation, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, unsecured areas, and/or other concerns that may require follow-up. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
