OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Gary, IN by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Join HMD Trucking in Gary as an OTR Solo CDL A driver for hazmat freight across the U.S.
Role Overview:
- Safely deliver hazardous materials under DOT regulations
- Maintain compliance with all safety and inspection protocols
- Record transport details accurately for each trip
What We Provide:
- 65 CPM base pay plus 4 CPM for hazmat
- Approximately 2,500 miles per week
- Modern equipment: APUs, inverters, sleepers in trucks under three years old
- Home every two weeks and in-house maintenance team
A valid CDL A and 12+ months of OTR hazmat experience are required to join our driver-focused culture.
