Job Overview:

• Salary/Pay Rate: $60+ per hour for highly qualified candidates, plus overtime and annual or performance-based bonuses; sign-on bonus potential

The Opportunity :

Serve as a senior field expert responsible for independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial and industrial boiler systems across multiple customer locations. You will take ownership of complex service calls, represent Superior Central Boiler directly with customers, and help guide or train less-experienced technicians. Your technical judgment, leadership, and commitment to safe, high-quality work will directly support system reliability and customer satisfaction throughout the tri-state area. 

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial and industrial boiler systems across multiple customer locations
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, electrical schematics, and piping diagrams to resolve burner, control, combustion, and mechanical system issues
• Perform preventive maintenance, open-clean-close procedures, refractory repairs, combustion tuning, and other complex field-service work
• Inspect completed work and operating conditions to ensure compliance with applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, and company safety standards
• Serve as the primary technical and customer-facing contact during service visits, clearly communicating findings, recommendations, and next steps
• Provide technical leadership in the field and help train or mentor less-experienced technicians when needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between customer sites
• Senior-level, hands-on experience servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial or industrial boiler systems
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical ladder diagrams, wiring schematics, and piping diagrams
• Ability to independently manage field-service calls, make sound technical decisions, and communicate professionally with customers
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and safely perform the physical requirements of field-service work

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Five or more years of related commercial or industrial boiler service experience
• Advanced knowledge of linkageless systems, fuel-air ratio profiling, and flame safeguard controls
• Experience with combustion tuning on commercial boilers
• OSHA 10 certification
• Availability for on-call and holiday work

Compensation & Benefits:

• $60+ per hour for highly qualified candidates, with overtime potential and annual or performance-based bonuses
