Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2023/2024 academic year, working onsite to support K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting near La Fayette, GA. This full-time position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to make a difference within a collaborative school environment. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll have the chance to provide crucial psychological services directly to students, educators, and families throughout the school community.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with K-12 student populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students across all grade levels
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support student learning and development
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for student plans
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance practice
