Dehesa School District is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and visionary Chief Business Officer to join our executive leadership team. This cabinet-level position provides an outstanding opportunity to help shape the future of an innovative, student-centered school district through strategic financial leadership, operational excellence, and collaborative decision-making. Working directly with the Superintendent, the Chief Business Officer serves as a key advisor to the Superintendent and Board of Trustees while overseeing the District's business services and operational departments. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and collaborative leader who is committed to fiscal stewardship and organizational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Finance and Budget Development
• Purchasing and Contracts
• Facilities Planning and Construction
• Maintenance & Operations
• Transportation
• Nutrition Services
• Risk Management
• Lead long-range financial planning and budget development.
• Advise the Superintendent and Board of Trustees on fiscal, operational, and facilities matters.
• Support charter school oversight, including financial review and operational collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful California school business management experience.
• California school business certification (CASBO CBO Certification or equivalent) is desirable.
• Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
