Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.Department OverviewManages state/local sales directly to end-users of the organization’s products or services in a large specified geographic area, or is responsible for a specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Responsible for leading a sales team within designated region, strategic account planning, and overall relationship management for existing and new customersAlign the Mobile Video sales team to the Motorola Solutions’ territory teams and key work partners to enhance sales & execution (internal and external partners)Establish a collaborative, energetic and exciting working environment as the leader of the regionHold sales team accountable for achieving/exceeding the Committed View (CV) forecastUtilize strong leadership and communication skills to cast a clear vision to execute the strategy.Provide an environment where changes in market focus, product performance, and customer requirements are communicated and acted upon.Establish an environment of ownership while understanding the business goals for the territory and the individual contributors for achieving those goals.Set go-to-market strategies both with direct and indirect selling resourcesGenerate a long-term, multiple-year sales pipeline and accounts to pursueCreate, strengthen, and manage reseller and Motorola manufacturer representative organizationsDevelop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the existing customer baseSupport sales team in negotiating large contractsResolve complex customer service and satisfaction issuesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experienceOR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience1+ years of leadership experience preferredHelp drive product decisions and support decisions to support our customers existing and future needsDevelop Motorola procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged across an entire "target" accountAttract into the organization and develop a diverse pool of future leadersA track record of making or exceeding assigned sales goalsExcellent negotiation skillsLocation/Travel:Preferred candidate will reside in one of the following states: AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, NC, SC, GA, FLTravel: Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the timeTarget Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
