Senior Upstream Process Engineer

Technical Source is currently in search of a Senior Upstream Process Engineer for our pharmaceutical client in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area. This is a long-term contract position that requires on-site work. The qualified candidate should have experience supporting the start-up and commissioning of downstream process equipment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Upstream Process Engineer include:

• Engineering Support during C&Q Activities
• P&ID Review/Walkdowns
• Verify Installation/Mechanical Completion
• Communicate with Vendors/Relevant Teams
• Troubleshooting Support during Engineering Runs & Production

Qualifications of the Senior Upstream Process Engineer include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical Preferred)
• 3+ Years of Experience in Process Engineering
• Experience Working in a Greenfield Environment
• Extensive Knowledge of Stainless Steel Downstream Equipment (Media Prep, Seed Train, OR Bioreactors)
