Copyediting promotional and medical communications materials, the entry-level remote Editor will ensure consistency and accuracy while reporting to an Editorial Manager based in San Francisco and working PST hours. Key responsibilities Copyedit materials to conform to grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines, including AMA standards Fact check information against source material and validate reference lists for accuracy Proofread and evaluate layouts for spacing, type size, and overall presentation issues Required qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or health sciences 1-2 years of editorial experience preferred, with a focus on healthcare marketing or medical communications a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Ability to learn and apply style guides, with familiarity in AMA style preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment
