We are seeking a dedicated, patient-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Key Responsibilities Long-Term Care (LTC) Operations

• Oversee specialized multi-dose compliance packaging, unit-dose dispensing, and scheduled delivery preparation.

• Collaborate closely with facility medical directors, directors of nursing (DONs), and care teams to optimize resident pharmacotherapy.

• Provide clinical consultations regarding medication reconciliation, side-effect management, and formulary alternatives.

• Accurately review and verify prescriptions prior to dispensing

• Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians, interns, and front-store staff to maintain seamless workflow and regulatory compliance Community & Retail Operations

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and counsel patients on proper usage, potential adverse effects, and precautions.

• Deliver direct patient care services, including administering immunizations and conducting Medication Therapy Management (MTM).

• Provide clinical oversight for over-the-counter (OTC) product selection and basic health screenings.

• Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians, interns, and front-store staff to maintain seamless workflow and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm.) from an ACPEaccredited institution.

• Licensure: Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy (or eligibility for license transfer/reciprocity).

• Certifications: A plus but not required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and immunization certification (via NM Board authorization).

• Experience: Experience in either community retail or long-term care settings is preferred; cross-training will be provided for candidates experienced in one area wishing to expand into the other. Compounding experience a plus. New graduates are welcome to apply
